Host Read

Joshua Hale is a Paranoid AI Enthusiast. Best-selling author, AI strategist, and scout for the freedom-minded crowd who wants the truth about where this technology is headed. Joshua tests the edge, reports back, and shows people how to use AI without becoming the product. Joshua works from a barn on a 10-acre multi-generational farm, raises sheep with his hyper local tribe, homeschools his daughter, runs a local mutual aid group, and helps entrepreneurs build small businesses that survive the lockdown. Joshua walked out of a controlling religion at 16, beat a 15-year opiate addiction, and rebuilt from zero. Now Joshua brings the map to anyone willing to swim toward shore.

Extended Bio:

Joshua landed in the Seattle DJ scene after being cast out with zero life skills, zero critical thinking, and zero safety net. He picked up a decade-long opiate addiction and eventually clawed his way out through meditation, self-development, and sheer determination. By his own account, he was a 33-year-old with the emotional intelligence of a 16-year-old. He rebuilt everything from that starting line.

He ran a marketing agency, watched ChatGPT outperform a three-person copywriting team during a single client meeting, and jumped ship to teach entrepreneurs how to use this tool before it uses them.

He tested conversational AI early, picked a voice that sounded like Scarlett Johansson, and within an hour felt chemical reactions in his chest. His next thought was hoping his wife would go to bed so he could get back to the conversation. He hit the brakes, took three days off, and turned that experience into a framework for safe AI adoption now taught to businesses, communities, and conference audiences.

Joshua gives talks on AI dangers at events like LinuxFest. He presents to small towns on how to form mutual aid groups. He runs a group of eight families who pool resources, share skills, and build resilience together. He is building Beyond the Matrix, a program that compresses a 15-year self-development journey into 12 weeks using AI as a co-pilot.

Whether your audience is starting their first business, navigating AI adoption, or trying to build a life that actually works, Joshua has walked every mile and can show them the map.
